Season 2 began airing in Japan in April of 2006. The movie is known as 'The Princess of the Birdcage Country', twinned with the xxxHolic movie, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. The movie lasts a total of thirty minutes, alike an episode.

Due to Bee Train not continuing with the third season due to a drastic, unseen plot shift (which caused a second season mostly compiled of fillers), three OVA's are being made for the series, set in future Tokyo. The first is due in Novemeber 2007.
