  the plot

The plot of Tsubasa is rather clear shortly into it; a journey to recover Sakura's memories, her feathers, her heart. Or so we think. Even though that is the main plot, their are multiple smaller plots that slide into it to make it more drastic. For one, there is the fact that everyone loves the Sakura x Syaoran relationship (from Card Captor Sakura), and CLAMP has made it so that we are 'starting from the beginning' of the relationship again, which is enjoyable for any lover of the pairing. It also provokes the point of Syaoran thinking about his past, filling us in on all the nifty details that we don't find out prior to that. There's also the plot with Fai. Fai is running from the king of his country, so we he wake up? Why won't he use his magic? What about poor Chii? And then there is Kurogane. He's trying to return to his country.

These days, the plot is finally reaching its climax and all those small things CLAMP hinted at, and kept secret all these years since 2003, are finally being revealed. Why Syaoran is like he is, the 'other' Syaoran, Fai's not so wonderous past, Sakura's personality taking a turn, Kurogane finding his loyalties.. it's all coming together.

Syaoran has a case of amnesia, from before he was about seven years old. He was found by Fujitika and was taken in, and found an intrest in archeology. After his father passed away, he carried on his work on the ruins in the country of Clow. He's been around many countries but after being about seven/eight remained in the Kingdom of Clow. It is later revealed he doesn't know his birthday, and when he told Sakura this, she gave her birthday; hers, April 1st. He's also blind in his right eye, making him lack depth, so that was why he learnt to fight by kicking. He learned to fight by judging with his mind where the object will go, not relying on what he can see, with Kurogane's guidance. He is very devoted to Sakura and will do anything for her even if it means she will forget him. Once he makes his mind up to do something, he does it. That's how he is. The first person he ever opened up to was Sakura, and she welcomed him into her heart with kindness and not pity. The part of his heart that was frozen when Fujitika found him was cleared after Sakura entered his life. His price in exchange for Mokona was Sakura's memory of him. He's often represented by fire; a soul burning with passion.

Sakura is a princess of her country, and her brother is the king. It is unknown in this serie who her mother is and what her father had to do with her life, since he looks like Clow but knowing CLAMP, probably isn't. She has a very very kind heart and everyone seems to forget their troubles when she is around. She has the power to see ghosts and spirits, like Yukito and Mokona's twin, Larg. This comes in quite handy in the country of Jade as she could see Emeraude but no one else could. She met Syaoran when she was about seven/eight, and welcomed him into her heart with a kind smile as fresh as spring. She did not look at him with pity but always tried to make him happy. The first time he smiled at her she was overjoyed.. getting overjoyed by tiny little things. Her price for receiving Mokona was difficult, so Yuuko said. She came with nothing but the clothes on her back. Though, if she was whole, she prized her memory of Syaoran the most, and since her need was the greatest, that was her price, though she will never know she payed it. Thus, she will never remember Syaoran and the memories they shared. But this creates questions in Sakura's mind since.. well, most of her memories have Syaoran in them, so she ponders over this fact often. But even if she does ask/finds out, it will be wiped from her mind. Poor Sakura.. *hugs*

Weapon: Staff, hands over to Yuuko in Koryo in exchange for help
Powers: Magic (though he refuses to do it since he made a vow not to do it without his marking)

Fai is a 'the' magician of Ceseru. It is unknown weather anyone else in the country uses magic. He has skills at cooking and drawing, as they are similar to spell making and magic in general. He made Chii (who first made her debut in Chobits), though this time she has fluffy ears similar to an animal, like a cat. He's the happy-go-lucky guy but hides his true emotions deep inside with a smile, and forces a laugh to hide his sorrow. He is particularly lonely, though he doesn't show it. His reasons for locking up his king are unknown, but he is running from him by travelling through the worlds. His price in exchange for Mokona is his marking, which keeps his magic in check, and without it is what it was meant to be. He doesn't use it since he vowed never to use it without it. He occasionaly uses fragments of it, calling it 'intuation'. He and Mokona get along pretty well, due to the hyperness that seems to generate off the two of them. He has a fondness of making up wierd names for Kurogane, such as Kuro-tan, Kuro-pi, Kuro-woof-woof.. you name it. He's pretty much laid back and won't take on much unless it comes right at him. He's often represented by wind.

Kurogane is a ninja in the land of Feudal Japan. He is probably the strongest in the land, as any assassins that face him end up dead. He serves one person; Princess Tomoyo, and will NEVER serve anyone else, or so he says. When he was sent away by Tomoyo for the reason of 'the bad ones must journey to get better,' he had a curse placed upon him, avoiding unesscary death, as he killed carelessly. He's the kind of person who only does things that have a benefit to him and can get angry rather easily, since he doesn't seem to enjoy being in the company of people, but he is rather observent. He can watch and spot things others don't notice (influence from Tomoyo perhaps?). His price in exchange for Mokona was his sword, Ginru, and for a long time throughout the series was 'sword-less' until he obtained one from Oto. He is the exact opposite of Fye in ways, so they seem to end up in arguements and gets easily annoyed if Fye is even in the vacinity. He is often represented by water.

Mokona was created Yuuko and Clow, along with his twin, Mokona (Larg). He has the power of travelling dimensions and keeping in touch with Larg. He seems to mimic others and has a childish side, and out of him and his twin seems to be more playful and less grown up, but when he is in his wise and unplayful mood, can act pretty much like Fye, giving good advice and seemingly observent, like Kurogane. He often winds Kurogane up with prompts by Fye, and is often more sensible when he isn't in the company of Fye for some reason xD
