keepsakes from the past for the future

First thing's first: what's a fanlisting? Well, a fanlisting is a group of people who like something; ie a group of people who like Wolves. All a fanlisting is is a list of fans to do with that particular person, item, or object; it joins together people with similar intrests.

   memories

Don't know what memories are? Well, it's exactly what you're thinking about past-wise. So anything that happened to you in the past is a 'memory', good or bad, though sometimes bad ones are something you remember more than the good ones, or your mind can lock them away from you. What makes us all so - for lack of better words - human, is the ability we have to recall things from a long time ago and have them effect our actions later on, or after, and think back on times long gone. If you're interested further into the more deeper aspect of memories I highly reccomend you look at the article on wikipedia for the idea of memory and memories. Anyway, this fanlisting is listed in Concepts and Ideas at the fanlistings.

   reasonings

I like the idea of memories; it's so great that you can remember everything that happens to you, such as your first friend or even the very first thing you can remember. It's always fascinated me and amazed me how the human mind can contain millions of thoughts from the past all at once and call them up, even when you think you've forgotten. If we forgot everything, then we wouldn't be able to grow, mature and develop, and look back on things we've been through. Even if you have bad memories that partain to mistakes you've made, that's good, in a sense - you won't do it again, because you remember the results from last time. Without memory, we wouldn't progress very far. Alongside, is the factor that a lot of your decisions are based on memories, or unconscious memories, such as if you don't like things touching you round the neck, it's probably a vague memory of your past life or something. That, also, intruiges me. Overall, I just really like memories. If you need further proof, just look at the domain name, heh.

   remembrance

You 'remember' things, and this fits well. It's also a principle point on describing it on several online dictionaries. I thought about 'most precious' when I first obtained the fanlisting, but since not all memories are good, I decided overall on remembrance.
