Fruits Basket
Fruits Basket is the story of Tohru Honda, who, due to her mother dying in an accident, is living in a tent. A fateful day, the Sohma's take her in; and she discovers that they are cursed with the twelve animals of the zodiac, plus the cat! Despite this, the head, Akito, doesn't erase her memory, and allows her to live with them. Tohru meets many members of the zodiac, and discovers things that could change her life forever.

Megumi
Spoilers.. Megumi is Saki's (Hana-chan's) little brother. It's unsure of how old he is, though he acts rather mature so I would say about 11 to 13, perhaps 14. Megumi is one of the most understanding brothers you could ever ask for; when Saki had troubles with her 'waves' when she was little, he always stood by her and copied her to make an attempt at making Saki feel she was needed. When Saki started wearing black, so did he. When they tried to learn about Saki's power, he picked up a skill at cursing people with their name.. a skill that will only happen after three days, so watch out :D he's a rather funny character at times even if its not intended, its normally the reaction from the others. He's not shown often, but as often as some of the 'less-important' so to speak, Sohma's. Megumi's other side is VERY different, the serious, caring, understanding side. If you get to know him he really cares about people. When Saki had almost given up hope he gave his all to help her. He prayed.. 'because.. there can't be NO ONE out there.. who wouldn't love Saki'. And even though it sounded absurd, it came true. There's a lot of trust between him and his sister there.

Why
His personality. The cursing side, and the other. The other side especially, his caring one. I really admire him for that. He's also one - if not - of my favourite characters from Furuba :)

Inori
There was two sides to Megumi I could have named this fanlisting after; one was 'Cursed' and the other was 'Inori'. I decided to go with Inori since it sounded better. Inori is japanese for prayer, by the way.
