A fanlisting is a group of people who like something; ie a group of people who like Wolves. All a fanlisting is is a list of fans to do with that particular person, item, or object; it joins together people with similar intrests.

Fruits Basket is the story of Tohru Honda, who, due to her mother dying in an accident, is living in a tent. A fateful day, the Sohma's take her in; and she discovers that they are cursed with the twelve animals of the zodiac, plus the cat! Despite this, the head, Akito, doesn't erase her memory, and allows her to live with them. Tohru meets many members of the zodiac, and discovers things that could change her life forever.

megumi hanajima

please be warned, that this may contain spoilers. Megumi is Saki's (Hana-chan's) little brother. It's unsure of how old he is, though he acts rather mature so I would say about eleven to thirteen. Megumi is one of the most understanding brothers you could ever ask for: when Saki had troubles with her 'waves' when she was little, he always stood by her and copied her to make an attempt at making Saki feel she was needed. When Saki started wearing black, so did he. When they tried to learn about Saki's power, he picked up a skill at cursing people with their name, to try and help Saki fit in so she wasn't the only one who was abnormal. Everything he did, he did it to help his sister, and what more can you ask for than a brother who really wants to help his sister to fit in? But it wasn't only that. At first, he's often seen as a rather funny or humorous character though unintended, as it's usually the reaction he gains from others. Megumi's true, real side is very different. It's not even really completely shown to Tohru or Arisa: just to Saki. If you get to know him it's clear he really cares about people, especially his sister. Especially when he prayed that he wouldn't let Saki give up, that there had to be someone, that there couldn't be 'no one out there who wouldn't love Saki'. That's one of the things that makes that chapter for me. Megumi's actions. Brilliant brother indeed.

Also he makes me laugh when Arisa says he acts like an old man. It's true, though, he acts beyond his years. Though on that occasion, it wasn't necessarily a good thing. But usually this is one of his virtues. He's seen what the world can be like: harsh and cruel. And he's matured and grown up from it.

why

I really admire him for his wish for Saki. The fact that he tried to help her in the only way that he really could. That he stood by her in the most literal way possible. I just love this guy so much as a little brother! Ahh. I can't really explain it properly, but he's just a really deep character, and the way he choses to be as well.

inori

Originally I debated between naming this fanlisting Cursing, or, Inori. I eventually decided on Inori. Inori is japanese for prayer, which is what Megumi does to Saki, to try and gain her a friend. He tells her that he'll pray for someone to love her, and she starts crying, because of how hard he's trying. /CLINGS TO MEGUMI-KUN-- ahem. I also more recently than not got into Paramore, and one of their songs, Miracle, is a must-listen to when I start designing for Megumi related things. It just fits so well. Because I won't let you give up on a miracle, when it might save you. Just that line. I think this sums up Megumi more than anything.
